
“From Single Tooth to Full Arch” with Live Surgery” Conventional and Guided Surgery: A Comparison of Surgical Techniques
The course is divided into two parts: a theoretical part about the full arch technique with guided surgery and a part dealing with clinical case analysis and discussion followed by Live Surgery where participants can watch the speaker perform surgery on a patient.
Abstract
When performing implant placement with immediate load, knowledge about correct indications and accurate treatment planning of post-extraction surgery are essential for successful rehabilitation.
Learning Objectives
The aim of this training course is to familiarise participants with the different techniques of immediate load implant surgery and to make them independent in approaching complex implant-prosthetic rehabilitation.

• Clinical case presentation and discussion of implant placement in live surgery.

Stefano AmatiImplantologist
Doctor Amati graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics Prosthodontics at the University of Florence in 2006. In 2006-2007 he took the course in “Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry with Direct Methods” and, in 2009, the theoretical course ” Diagnosis and Treatment of Cranio-Mandibular Disorders” where he learned how to diagnose and plan cranio-mandibular and postural therapy. In 2010 he completed the practical course on Clinical Crown Lengthening and the master in Advanced Oral Implantology at UCLA, University of Los Angeles, USA. In 2012 he took the post-graduate course in Implantology “Curso de Imersào Cirùrgica em Implantodontia” at ABO, Brazilian Society of Dentistry of the State of Sergipe. In 2017 he completed the Post-graduate Programme in Reconstructive Surgery of Periodontal and Peri-Implant Tissues at San Raffaele Dental Clinic in Milan and the Advanced Course in Guided Surgery at the practice of Dr Vincenzo La Scala.
