Second meeting: foundations of implantology
Abstract
The Basic Course in Implantology is designed for Dentists who either approach implant dentistry for the first time or have limited clinical experience in this discipline and wish to acquire or update their knowledge about biology and clinical practice, which are necessary to apply modern implant techniques in a safe and predictable way. The Course comprises two 2-days modules. During the first module Participants will learn the theory of Implant Surgery and will attend a hands-on session with models. During the second module they will practice with patients under the Tutor’s supervision.
Obiettivi di apprendimento
The course is divided into two parts: theory and practice. The theoretical part includes images and videos. In the second part participants will use models first and then, during the second module, they will place implants in their patients’ mouth under the Tutor’s supervision. After the theoretical and practical modules, participants will be able to accurately plan and perform implant surgery and then place implant-borne prostheses to treat cases with a missing tooth or teeth.

*Participants can agree with the Tutor to bring their own patient.
All Lancer course participants will be entitled to an FAD course of 25 ecm credits to be used and completed by 12/31/2022
